Currently Reading: The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho, which is breathtakingly beautiful in its prose. Also in the rotation (I'm always juggling books): Helmet for My Pillow by Robert Leckie, and Siddhartha by Herman Hesse. Looking for a light-hearted summer read, so turn me on to something frolicking and funny!
Ready to re-read: Small as an Elephant by Jennifer Jacobson. Loved it the first time; plan to revisit it soon.
Films most recently seen: The Revenant (who hasn't?) and The Hateful Eight (Quentin Tarantino has a unique ability to create films that enable me to tolerate extraordinary violence. Now THAT's storytelling!)
On the To Do List: Step away from the computer and spend some time in the Great Smoky Mountains.
